Anker Solix F2600 Size
The overall size is roughly 21”L x 10”W x 16″H. Which seems good for this size capacity. It does not feel bulky.
The 16″ height was convenient, as it seems to always be a good place to rest things. The “front” side of the power station is on the long side. This is where all the main outlets are located. Some units do have the front located on the short ends.
The Solix F2600 weighs 67.24 lbs. Which is the same weight as it’s previous model, but now with even more storage capacity.
Anker Solix F2600 Design
The Anker Solix F2600 has a large watt hour capacity, but is designed for portability. It comes with 4.7” wheels and a pull-out tow handle. We found that these features make it very easy to move it around. The pull-out handle collapses nicely into the top of the unit. So when it is not needed, it’s hardly noticeable. In addition, the top of the unit is completely flat, making it a very convenient place to rest things.
As an added feature, the Anker Solix F2600 comes with a led light strip, with an adjustable brightness feature. This is a convenient feature when trying to plug in devices at night, or in low light. The Solix F2600 is also very quiet. The fans do kick on at a certain power consumption level, but it is not a sound that is bothersome. It is one of the quietest units available.
Anker Solix F2600 Capabilities
The Solix F26000 comes with 2,560Wh capacity. The watt hour capacity is sufficient for practically all mobile uses. In addition, should you need more power from the unit, it is expandable to 4,608Wh with the Anker BP2000 expansion battery.
The power station is equipped with 4 AC outlets, along with an RV TT-30R outlet. We found that 4 outlets is a good minimum for these size units, so in that aspect we felt the Solix does well. It also comes with multiple USB ports for charging other device types. Overall, we felt that the amount and type of outlets was well designed.
Here is a brief summary of some of the pros and cons we found with the Anker Solix F2600:
Pros:
- High output capacity, with good portability
- 4 AC outlets & 1 RV outlet
- Side LED strip light
- Handy flat top
- Very quiet operation
- Good overall design appearance
Cons:
- No real cons
Overall, we found the Anker Solix F2600 to be well-built, with plenty of features to make this a very convenient source of mobile power. We like that it is expandable, should you need. However, for most daily outdoor uses having 2,000 Wh available should be plenty. For powering a home system and adding on to it, there are other power stations that might be better suited for that application.
The Anker Solix F2600 though is designed to give convenient portable energy, and that it we feel it excels. For mobile use, at this mid level capacity, currently there is nothing better. With the Anker Solix F2600, Anker is helping raise the bar in high quality portable power stations
